Default Auction of a Miniature Sewing Machine Collection Ohio

Hope this works. The photos are good and the pieces look so interesting. I have no room for them or I might be there as a day out. Love the Little Betty in box.

Wow... that's an auction I would LOVE to attend!! Sewing machines, teacups and even a painting of a two-tailed dog. Now who could pass that up?

I was perusing the pictures and in the background is a Featherweight box, but so far I have not found a pic of that machine.

WOW! Would love to go to it as I have some of those machines but some I didn't have. I have around 45 little machines, fun to collect! I have pics of mine in my photo albums in my profile.

Did anyone pick up on that auction listing, "Large collection of quilting material and quilts?" Just wondering.

Those kinds of descriptions can go either way. I would drive for a set of sewing machines but stay closer to home with the material that auctioneers get. I was at one auction with over 100 boxes of fabric. Some were huge totes and some the storage totes in cardboard. The auctioneer did not like women's things and went so fast that many of us were left in the dark.

however, at the same auction I got an enormouse collection of unused patterns for around $11 and eventually sold most for over $500. I could see that there were some older Barbie ones so took a chance.

it is true that many estate auctions contain a lot of much older material so I never have high hopes. In the previous auction, I had gone for the yarn (another story) and found the fabric and patterns as a bonus.
