Question Brother Festival 451 & Cabinet

I'm looking for information on the Brother Festival 451 and the cabinet. I'm wondering if they are an original combo, or just any info would be great! Thank you!!

I'm not sure, but I think I've seen Pfaffs come in that cabinet.

I've only ever seen Pfaffs and Necchis with this type of cabinet. Pfaff cabinets have the hand hole on the left of the front though. As far as I know Brother didn't have a cabinet like this but I certainly don't know everything. Out of all of the Brother machines I've got that came to me in cabinets only one was in an original Brother cabinet. Two came in Singer cabinets and one came in a cabinet that's generic, I've seen several brands of machines in a cabinet like it.

Thanks so much for your replies! That is great information. I wasn't quite sure how to even search for it.

I can can report the machine is cleaned up, threaded, and sews very nicely! It's definitely a keeper! ☺️

That's a happy color! I'd LOVE to sew on that machine

Based on what I've seen, I'd guess the cabinet is older than the machine.

Love that bright color!

My husband narrowed the date on the machine to either 1952 or 1962. It is a fun color and it sews perfectly!

Do you happen to have a website for vintage Brother machines? I've looked all over. Thanks!

Nope. Just years of reading everything I can find about them, years of using them, taking lots of notes and saving lots of pics. I own close to 30 Brother machines.
