Default Brother Pink Festival Vintage Machine on CL

    Just saw this- http://albany.craigslist.org/atq/5017469765.html
Close by but too pricey in my opinion. I kind of like the color- maybe a deep watermelon pink? I was tempted but too many much older machines needing attention here and with the lovely day it's yardwork time instead.

Yes it's too pricey. I think but I'm not 100% positive that these machines have plastic gears in them, so even if it works fine now disaster is waiting to happen. A friend of mine is giving me one of these, I'm waiting for her to ship it to me then I'll know for sure what's inside it.

Thanks for the post. Never saw that color on a DSM before. Yes, I bet it is a dark watermelon color.

I'd go with what Cari said. She's our local Brother expert.

LOL, thanks for the vote of confidence Rodney, but I'm no expert just a huge fan of the vintage Brothers.
