    Default Can you help me identify my new machine?

    I think it is a 15 but a 15 what?? The guy I bought it from said it was a 1952 but he really didn't know. Any info would be much appreciated as I want to get a manual for it

    That series of serial number was allocated on Dec. 18. 1952. Appears to be a 15-91 (looks like a potted motor hanging off the back/ no belt).

    Thank you, I have spent all day watching "how to clean your machine" and cleaning and oiling it. But wouldn't you know it..broke the only needle I had trying to see if it would sew leather!!! DARN IT

    Becky, I have a manual for the 15-91 if you want, I can get a copy and send it to you. I have your address already. Mine doesn't have a case, yours is cute. Mine was in a cabinet that another lady wanted, she didn't want the machine. Amy

    You'll love the 15-91. It sews very well, and FMQ too.
