I realize this was posted some time ago. But, I just acquired this machine and I think it is worth saving. Mine is cosmetically very nice, and the motor is smooth and strong. It has required several hours of cleaning, oiling, and coddling to get to this point. the problem, it doesn't pick up the bobbin thread. There is no manual so, don't know whether timing is off, bobbin case is bad, don't have the bobbin case assembly installed correctly, threaded right, etc. etc. Can anyone offer as a possible solution.

Hi there and welcome to the board. Yours is newer than mine so I can't be a lot of help. but you are thinking the right directions. Timing is rarely off so I would save that for last. Could you send a front and side pic of how you have it threaded? You will need to make them tiny.

Welcome.
I know some of the White bobbin cases are a little different. Maybe the bobbin is threaded incorrectly or the needle is inserted incorrectly or threaded the wrong direction. Does the bobbin case look like Directions for loading a White rotary bobbin (White Family Rotary, etc.)

I have this exact machine, attached to a cabinet. It was a workhorse until the belt broke about 15 years ago. I'm now determined to find an replace that belt. I didn't really realize what a gem this was until I found this discussion on quiltingboard.com.
If anyone has advice about best ways to sell it, I am trying to downsize, and hate letting go of this, but it needs to be done. Thanks
