Unhappy Craigslist score gone sad

Someone on Kansas City CL had SM parts for free. I need a replacement foot control for my FW, the one I have is wearing out and not shutting off current. There were several SM foot pedals in the photos on the CL ad so I dutifully sent in the email and picked up a pile of parts today. Once I untangled all the pieces I realized that I'm pretty sure I can't use the pedal I wanted as a replacement. That's all another thread but in the meantime, I have 14 new foot controls, two motors, several clip on presser feet and a manual for two machines I don't own. None of the foot control plugs I have are usable for my machines. If I can get one of the controls to replace the one I need then it will be worth it. Also, if anyone needs any foot controls, feel free to drop me a line.

This is true. I am a home for wayward free things it appears. I need to stop though so it doesn't become some weird hoarding situation, lol.

Is there a foot controller for a 15-91 in there?

What machines are the manuals for?

No need for sadness--you have $50-$100 worth of GOOD parts. Don't see why one wouldn't work for your FW with a new double lead cord. You did good.

My cord is in great shape, my pedal is what sucks for the FW. I have no idea if there's a controller for a 15. What does the input look like? The manuals are for a 328 and a 401. I have three of the standard 1 toe-button controllers indiginous to fw's, 301's ect. The black one looks like it's been wet, I haven't inspected the tan or grey one's. I wanted to use the electronic control that's front & center as the replacement but I don't know how it would work. That one is brand new.

In the top middle there is a tan foot pedal that looks like it is from a tan 301. I wonder if it might also work for your 221/ Can be painted black.

Remove the old foot pedal (or repair?) and reuse cord with new. Easy as pie on the older Singers button controllers as nothing to mix up. Never had a new electronic but I'd imagine its equally simple. I'm sure you can find installation instructions online or from a QB member.
