I have my grandmother's old Singer. guess early 1900. I think it is in what is called a Parlor Cabinet
The cabinet goes all the way to the floor with doors in front for your knees when you are sewing.
Wondering if there is any value in this or if i should just toss it to get rid of it.

Please pass the smelling salts! Please don't throw it out!!

I've paid upwards of $350 to get a very nice condition full parlor cabinet with a pristine machine. I've seen them sell for a lot less if they are in poor condition with a beat up old 15 inside.
If you have a cabinet with the embossed trim, that is way harder to find than one of the plain styles.
Most certainly don't toss it out!

Have you tried putting it on CL in the Twin Cities? I know I was willing to drive several hours to pick up mine. I got one in Apple Valley and the other in St. Louis MO.
There is also the River Rat TOGA group with a lot of MN members, and I've read they have a for sale board. VSS also has a for sale section.
