You have a beautiful machine! We are so lucky to have gotten such a wonderful family heirloom!

Here's a photo of some of the attachments:

Binder
Hemmers (missing 2 of 5)
Guide w/screw
Tension Plates w/screw
Ruffler (missing the thumb nut and shirring plate)
Tucker

I have not yet cleaned the Ruffler or Tucker, but have done a very light/gentle cleaning of all the other items.

More stuff ...

I have three plates w/ screw. The first one I think is the "under braider plate w/ guide"?! The other two look identical to me. Not sure what the difference is between the coarse and fine needle plate?

I believe the first two feet are Feller - Foot Hemmer, and Presser Foot for Attachments (however, I don't know what type of presser foot are the 3rd one and the 4th one). I have the winged nut foot screw (which fits all of them).

I only have two bobbins (still haven't taken off the old thread) and two different shuttles. Will post another close up photo of the shuttles.

Machine needles - Domestic brand and BOYE #8 and the winged needle nut. And, of course, a random screw.

I'm happy with the attachments that I do have, but will probably try to track down the items that I am missing.

Close up of two different shuttles?

The top shuttle has a (fragile looking) hinged closure. It is stamped "Domestic" and also has something else stamped beneath it (but I can't read it - - need a magnifying glass).

The bottom shuttle was in the machine (when I received it) and it has a slide closure with no stamp or any type of mark/brand on it. I'm assuming this one is a "newer" shuttle?!

look at the underside of the two similar needle plates and see if one has a more tapered hole. If your machine was one of those that can take the chain stitch attachment, then it should have come with the slightly different needle plate to use with it. It has more of a beveled hole on the back side to accommodate the loop of the thread for the chain stitch.

Since both of those you have are rather chewed up, they may just be ones that were replaced but not thrown out.

If you machine will take a chain stitch attachment, it will have a hole in the shuttle carrier.

Boye made replacement shuttles for domestic, and most Boye shuttles have no markings on them.

Recently got a Domestic head like this but no shuttle slide plates. Need to fit around the Oval foot plate...everything is for round plate, any idea where I might find them. Gave up online and eBay. Thanks Theresa
