Default A DRESSMAKER added to my collection

Hello all,

Well I finally had a chance to look over a DRESSMAKER that I was able to barter for. I had made a few donations to a local thrift shop and on one trip, I spotted this machine in a cabinet with a matching seat with a removable top for under seat storage. Price tag said $100. I inquired if the owner would be willing to trade a nice overstuffed recliner and some Joe Rocket and Nitro motorcycle riding jackets that I no longer needed. She said that the machine belonged to her and that we had a deal. I went and picked up my truck with the chair, which was in one of my shops being stored, and the other goodies and returned home with the machine. All in all I think I made a great deal. I oiled her up and she sews like a dream. This machine is powerful and goes from very slow to extremely fast with a wide power band. It has a 1.0 amp motor and I think she could be used in a light industrial environment. There are no stamped parts in the drivetrain and she weighs in at a hefty 35 lbs. I also like the two tone color. Today I saw the same machine in blue in a plastic case for $99 on e-bay. Hope you enjoy the pics. Chow for now.

Sweet! Nice looking machine. I like the styling from that era.
