Edmonton FW
Any one in Edmonton AB Canada wanting (notice I didn't day needing) a 222FW, there is one on Kijiji for $250. My SIL wouldn't take me to see it as they have no more room for my sewing machines ... and I didn't want to take the chance it wouldn't fit under the airplane seat.
My Dh reminded me that nine machines ought to be enough for anyone and that I still have a 222 to sell and another Singer that is not currently working ...
(sigh) ... I still wish I had it ...

I have a 1954 White Featherweight, and I like the way it sews when piecing quilts. I've had reason to be cruising through e-bay in the past few days, and I have to tell you, I think the FW's are priced way beyond what they're worth. $750.00 is way too much, and I saw a couple that were $1,100.00. Not to mention the 222 which was priced at $1,200.00 +. That is way beyond my pocketbook! Besides, I don't need more than one! Despite my addiction to sewing machines, I still have a tendency to be "cheap"! LOL
