Am I seeing right, it looks like the bobbin cover plate is missing. That would concern me a bit.

Oh- I love that cabinet, much prettier than the one that came with my machine!

I'm working on it, but not sure if I can talk my DH coming home a different route - more up the coast and then across Illinois instead of west and then up through MO. He has a thing against Illinois. . .

Well, maybe if it's still around in a three weeks . . . I sure do love the cabinet!

My two spool had the cover plate missing when I purchased it (bargaining tool), DH whipped one up for me in less than 5 mins... shined it up and looks/works great! The important piece is the bobbin...
