Does the blue one fit the other Elna? Want another one?

Just for curiosity sake, what does the plug to the machine look like?

I haven't tried the Su in the TSP case yet. Will do. I wated a year for find another machine when I got the SU without a power controller. I wasn't goign to pay $45.00 for one. I am patent...or cheap.

Thanks for the pictures -- on the other thread, too.

I may be able to help you out there, too.

I'll email you later, after I check it out.

Email on its way. I'm pretty sure this is the controller for that machine.

I have one of those in regular use - everything except quilting. SU 62C Yes, the stitch width has to be on zero to make any changes. No, there are no push/pull settings. All cams have to out or at least disengaged to do a 'normal' zigzag. Your pictures remind me that Miss Elna needs an oiling. The machine has been in constant use since 1973 with only one minor problem, and that was my fault. Making wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses in 1983 I let her get too dry. Silk organza to heavy leather with no complaints - a little workhorse. Mine is missing more paint than yours - the sign of a well used Elna. Sturdy paint is not their strong point.

Default A little late

I know this is quite an old thread but I just happened upon it and a video I think might be helpful in the same day so I thought I should reply in case anyone else experiences this problem (url below). I would watch to about 5:10 if you just want to know what the problem might be. The rest of the video is the repair process (you can see the broken gear at around 20:00)! It's a good lesson at least; never reverse stitch with a two tier pattern cam!

Cheers!
