Featherweight price

Featherweights prices vary alot upon locations. I have had problems twice in buying machines through Ebay or Craigslist. Both issues had to do with poor shipping techniques of the shipper. The repairs on the first one equaled to the cost of the machine. The second one has yet to be determined. If ordering by mail, make sure it is professtionally packed. If at all possible, buy locally and inspect it yourself before purchasing. It may be a little more expensive, but it saves wear and tear on you.

It looks to be in great condtion, with the original manual. I just need to figure out what some of the attachmens are: One looks like it could be a ruffler but am not sure, as I have not seen a ruffler foot for more than 50 years.
Would not venture as guess on whether $300 is too high or not.

Pat I gotta ask.
You teaching that Pug to sew? Cuz that FW looks just about big enough for it to sew on.

I can recommend an eBay seller of Featherweights if you like. They can be easily damaged in shipment. If you would like the name please email me privately. I have bought 2 FW 221 and paid $300-400, depending on condition. I just bought a gorgeous FW 222K on eBay. My Bernina dealer collects 221's and won't sell any he gets in.
