Prices do vary. I paid $150 for mine. It isn't nearly as pretty as the one in the picture, but it works just fine and sews the nice featherweight stitch. I am happy to have it. Looked on Craigslist for my area today and saw one in average shape for $350. I am still hoping I fall into a $20 one at a yard sale, but after years of looking, no luck yet.

I realized the price was high on Trudy. I didn't want to bid, and I did the "buy it now" thingy. I watched featherweights on Ebay for a while but I was just stuck on Trudy. The seller was top-rated and had 100% positive comments and has been on Ebay for 13 years. They handle a lot of sewing machines too. I rarely buy anything like this for myself, and I just decided I had to have her. She sits on my table in the dining/living area and she sews like a champ. I smile everytime I see her!
Bidders get some good deals on the featherweights. It just seemed like Trudy was the one for me.

For the most the FW's average from 200 to 300.00 and that depends on what you may also get with the machine. The case in nice and "it works" :) with electric cord and foot pedal. And some will have some feet and button holder with different size cams for it. So you just need to look closely and ask the seller questions, if you have any.

I paid 212.00 + shipping for a really good one with everything and it had been serviced as well. I feel I kind of got a deal b/c they are going for more these days on Ebay.
I've only had mine a year and use it a ton!!
I would pay more for one if I had to but not over 300.00, but that's just me :)
PS I love Trudy!!!

Lately the prices on eBay have come down somewhat, especially if the machine is not in top condition. You can find many on there for less than $200, but most go for $200-$250.
Good luck...I'm looking for one in rough shape that I can work on.
