Default Finally got her inside

I finally got my 9W-7 inside. We took the #1 Singer 66 treadle outside to the garage to make room.
This machine has been sitting outside for way over a year since I finished the cabinet. Now she needs a bit of T-F and some TLC.

Now I can work with all the accessories I've gotten from MacyBaby and build something with this machine.

The first thing I make with it will be a padded cover to keeps the cats claws off of it.

She's a beauty. Hope to find one something like this for myself someday. Enjoy!

That's a nice machine! Nice set of attachments for it too.

Is that a backclamp type of foot? I don't think I have ever seen one before. Nice machine.

Jp,

Yes it is a back clamp type of foot. The presser foot bar has a slot in it, the top of the foot slides into the slot. The screw passes through the back of the bar, the foot and threads into the front of the bar.

Not the same as the back clamp 66s, but the same concept.

I think this is one of my favorite looking machines. I have the WW9 and every time I see one with Singer on it, I'm tempted . . .

Very pretty! I also like your idea of making a cover to protect it from the cats. I should do that too. My cats love lounging around my sewing stuff.
