Default It fit in the Honda -Thank You

Thanks to all who gave me advice. The sewing machine and drawers went in the trunk and the cabinet traveled upside down on the back seat. This is an exciting birthday gift.

It's a beauty! Is it a 15 or a 115?

It's a 15. The couple I bought it from showed me she still works great. Now I need to learn to treadle.

That is a beautiful machine. You're so lucky. It won't take long to learn to treadle. I have 2 and I put a foot up high and one down low.[on the foot iron]. Just takes practice. Others may have a different way to treadle.

Oh wow - that is a very pretty machine and cabinet. Did it come with a history?

Oh, envy! And never take off that spool of yellow thread. Save it for display, it just goes with the decals.

Treadling isn't too difficult. For a Singer spin the handwheel toward you when you start treadling and let your feet follow the motion of the treadle until you get the hang of it. Easier to do than to explain it.
Your machine is a beauty!
