Flood damaged sewing stuff

So sorry to hear about the water problems. Wish I was closer to help - do take care and wear masks that are for working in moldy/damp areas. Hope you can recover and salvage most of your stuff.

Well, we didn't really get hurt too bad. About the only thing that got really drenched was some of my shooting things. I'm drying them out and cleaning them off now. Nothing found ruined yet.

The worst loss was my wife's patterns. The worst damage was the Kenmore case that got soaked. Somehow the machine didn't get wet, but the wood ..... ewww yuck. We've been leaving it outside in the sun since we found it. Not sure how to clean it, it's already molded.
And I'm sure that once it's completely dry the glue will have failed so I'll have to reglue it.

Phew! Not as bad as you had originally thought. I'm sure it is still a mess to clean up though. Stay safe and protect your lungs. It's nasty work cleaning up stuff like that.
