What a beautiful machine and I just love that cabinet. I've never seen one like that before where they have those squares. Lucky you!

She is absolutely gorgeous. With my luck, I would be in my Toyota Yaris, and not be able to get her in even with a screwdriver!! But I woud have cried all the way home for missing out on her.
Lucky you!

Someplace along the way I thought I recalled reading New Home and Favorite were related. It just might be. After working feverishly trying to get the needle that is in the machine out her comfy spot I was able to read-with the help of a magnifying glass-'New Home 2' on the shank. The other needle in the Boye case also reads 'New Home 2' but isn't as heavy a needle.

Do you think we solved the riddle, or is it just possible someone just made do with these needles?

I wished I could get 'Lady Rose' dated. `chuckle` without even thinking about it, I guess she just got named. Some of the posters commented on her yellow roses and I must have been unconsciously thinking about that. :-)

best,
d

Shoot! Mizkaki, I forgot to mention (this what happens when your orignal post doesn't go thru and you get the dreaded message 'quiltboard is not responding'), dh says the needle measures -cm 3.8 and 1.5 in from top of shank to top of eye.

Will these needles be tough to get? I'm getting a feeling she is going to be one of my 'go to gals'.

best,
d
