I'd snap it up. Around here you can usually add a zero to that for industrial anything.

Unfortunately you can't make the stitches long enough to do leather so you do about have to give those away.

I'd consider getting the old Singer twin needle. It's great for speed and the twin bobbins hold a lot of thread. Just remove 1 needle and bobbin for single needle sewing. I use a Consew twin needle for flag making that was formerly used in a leather luggage factory. I've never messed with the stitch length. I think it would sew through my bones if I got my hand in the way! Around Albany, NY even an old twin needle of any brand is about $400 and up.

The ad says that it needs a new motor, so that $50 is likely going to turn into $300 or so, which is still not bad.
