    it isn't really all that rare - maybe color choice...

    I really like the 15-30s I've had but I hate it when they 'refurbished' them because they did more than a crappy paint job. The bobbin winders only work with those little useless hand wheels. There is no motor mount to put on a HC. The motors are mounted different on each one. The same with the 27s people 'refurbished' AND now I have a Singer 66 redeye (it has good parts though) they gilded with godzilla paint:

    Wow! All dreamers. I wonder if they did any research at all or if they're just trolling for suckers. That bronze one looks like a 1940s refurb and it's missing the bobbin winder and guard at the very least. I'm not as knowledgeable about cabinets as I would like to be but that one doesn't look like any of the Singer ones I know. Maybe that's why they only want $1700? $17.00 would be a far more realistic price.

    I'm going to pass on that one and wait for the 5 or 7 others to show up. Though with my luck, they started with the best of the bunch.
