Not vintage but Geez! You want $1500 and all you can do is scan a couple of pages of the manual?

I -think- it's overpriced too. When I was looking for a similar model, most people were trying to sell them to me for about $500.

It's a little over priced but not a 27. This is a VS2. OK, it's almost identical to a 27 but it's a VS2 Originally Posted by ArchaicArcane

interesting that they don't know anything about it other than it looks like it needs a restoration but came to the conclusion that it is worth over $2000. . . .Originally Posted by SteveH

Same thing is happening on Fleabay right now. A seller listed an butonholer as an 1868(or something like that) and had it posted for $150 minimum.. I pointed out that it had stamped patent dates from 1885... So now they relisted at as an 1885 for $95 minimum..
FYI - it is a domestic buttonholer with box an manual. Tempted but I will wait and see if the price goes down on the next go round...

LOL! I'm not dreaming of the machine, I have one. The photos all look like the dream sequences in a crappy movie Originally Posted by manicmike

Also the "violin" shape was not phased out after 2 years in production as the ad says. Where do people get this stuff? If that were true, the 1891 models wouldn't have it.
