Maybe the motor doesn't work, so you have to turn it by hand.

Looks like the machine was made in Italy, and the foot controller was made in France.

I doubt it. The ad states it has different stitches and "parent".

Oh good grief! "The pictures are not the greatest because we were not going to drag it out of the Store Room to take pictures. If interested come and take a look. "

If you can't be bothered, why would I go to find out it has mice living in it, there's no machine, it's a rust bucket, etc?
And if they can't drag it out to take pictures - are they going to make you climb over stuff to get a look at it? One of those "it's back there somewhere, if you can find it you can buy it - if you can get it out from underneath everything"

That's a thought, call to arrange to come see it, but then cancel at the last minute, and then ask -since they pulled it out for you to look at, how about taking pictures of it now . . .

I'm going to bet it's a Rotary. I've seen way more of them in cabinets like this than the VSIII In fact, I've had a hard time finding White VS machines.

Ya know, I messaged a seller once and told him that the electric machine he was selling was not a hand crank. I got back a very curt reply saying "it has a hand wheel, it can be turned by hand, so it is a hand crank also..." yikes...
