Kinda cheap wooden toy sewing chainstitch machines made when the patents had all run out so they could make machines without royalties. The wood ones are rare and not often intact. I have known two folks who bought "intact" machines to find out that they had been glued...(like this one)

Kinda cool, but unless i find one in near perfect shape, I will not be tempted.

Seems like it would be hard to sew on something like that.

I could use a paddle attachment. It might help if there is ever a flood - make it a hand crank paddle attachemnt - just turn the machine and let her paddle out of the flood...

One of the first vintage machines I bought.
Yours just gleams & sparkles!! Nice machine - wish that the one in the ad was in my budget.

Thank you! Yes, not only does it look great, it sews very well. I found this one for well under $100 so keep watching the sites and we'll watch them for you.

Thanks for the info Steve - wasn't sure if it was a "toy" model or just a "new" look/design - had never seen them before.
