That second one wouldn't be bad at all.
Sewnoma: Thanks. Interesting is one description. I'm trying to block it out.

True enough, but it is restorable but not for that price and too far from me. - I'm wondering what the pointy thing is sticking up from the back of the machine.

I haven't seen a 99-13 in a table like that LOL Another one that I would like to see what accessories came with. Just curious as to which machine it actually is.

Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

Wonder where the poster found: "antique swingers are pre 1930's, not 20's"

Well I would guess that actual antique swingers are pre-1930s! Antiques have to be a bit older than that though.

I'm fairly certain that's a 31-15, in the table backwards. I can guarantee they never got it to work like that.

I googled "pickup winder." It has something to do with guitars... maybe they wind their own strings?

The pickup is the part that converts the sound the string makes into an electric signal. Looks like they use coils to do it. The winder is for winding the coils. That's all I know. From my brief search it looks like converting old sewing machines is a popular way to do it.
