    I'd guess it's a light.

To adjust the pressure on the presser foot, maybe?

OK, I'm having one of those days... It's not a tensioner, it's not stitch length, and it looks like a straight stitch machine... What the heck is the dial on the front by the needle? It appears to have left and right arrows, so I don't think it's a light.

I know when someone says "it's XYZ!" I'll feel like a dummy, but...?
I vote light as well. It looks like arrows, but I think it's actually (big dot)ON OFF(big dot). The dots are just so big, they look like arrowheads next to the tiny writing.

That's a cute machine. Too bad they want so much for it; I don't have a 15 clone, and that one is definitely speaking to me.

wonder if the thread path around the side has its tension adjusted by the knob on the front, where its easier to access while sewing.

It is really sharp looking. I think it's a light too.

19 cats, I'm sure that the knob on top right above the presser bar is for presser foot presser...

It must be a light. How interesting that they decided to mold that into the body like that.

Jennifer23, I think you're right. Looking closer at it (on a bigger monitor) I can see that the right "arrow" is a little longer. That makes sense.

OldSewnSew - It's an interesting idea, but I don't know how they'd implement it. Besides, the knob on the left looks functional....

amcatanzaro - I agree, it's sharp looking. I think that's why I looked at it a couple of times then spotted the mystery.

This one is actually in Howell, MI where my other half was born and raised. I will take great pleasure in showing how the hometown has shamed themselves!!!
