***This is wonderful.
*** Some of the shows on TV talk about altering clothes at exhorbitant prices

*** I do some minor alterations and I charge very little for them.

What a thrill to read what he has done! Who would even think of that or foresee how wonderfully it would work out? Thank you for sharing this with us!

Great idea! I am sure you have helped many people in need. We just have to be creative.

this is super! thank you passing it on. I don't treadle but I could do this with my Electric at the library or somewhere in our town POP 250.giving me ideas.
I used to do this for my home care pts. if I saw their clothes in need of repair, I would tell them when you get it washed, leave it out and I will take it home and fix it, they were ever so appreciative.

And isn't it a shame that in this great country of ours, we have to think this way? Makes it hard to be as giving as one would like to be sometimes.

Far too many people suing for a perceived injustice, when it is usually caused by themselves. When you spill hot coffee on yourself, the one to blame is yourself, period!!!
What really makes me angry is the juries that reward huge amounts to these people, which we all end up paying for!

Nuff said!!

Happy sewing, Ethel
