Candace, Charlee, irishrose,
I'm just being silly. I'm no newby at these auctions. I've won a lot and lost some, no big deal.
When I'm dead serious about an auction I'll have a BIG bid on it. I expect to be bid against. To get something with only one bid rarely happens.
As for not posting it here, it don't matter. As you said GoodWill is public and the C****1 person may not even know this forum exists.

We were outbid on the last two machines we went for and had just about decided to call it quits for a while.
Until ...... we saw this one: http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=9612816
Over 30 built in stitches, three position zig-zag needle, and a case with a drawer. That fascinates me no end. One of my plans for the future is to design and build my own machine cases. So I want this machine / case combo for the decorative stitches and the case.
~DIBS~
Hopefully there won't be too many others who want it, cos we're going deep pockets on this one.

I knew it. Going to be a fantastic road trip. I was very GOOD yesterday. Had to do my Tuesday shopping stuff and actually passed by my favorite thrift stores knowing that I am going to pick up my Davis treadle and another cabinet that my DD (AKA chief enabler) purchased two weeks ago. But, I do have a line on a Featherweight. The one I have needs a sister. Right?
