My daughter is on her way to pick this one up for me. Hard to contain my excitement.

Lucky you! That is beautiful. I'm keeping my eye open for one myself.

Very nice, though it is a 15-90 or 15-91 and not a 201.

15-90 or 15-91's are very similar to 201's so it is easy to confuse them. 201's always have the tension disc on the front while this machine has it on the back. There are other small differences as well but this is the easiest one to spot. 15-90's were often referred to as the farmer's wife special while the 201 which was the more expensive machine of the two was called the dressmaker's special. Both are heavy fast straight stitch machines. I regularly use my 201 for mending and making buttonholes. It powers through coverall repairs and does not jam or break needles if the stitching is tough. You'll like this machine.

Nice machine and cabinet, and you have the matching stool. Great score!

Yep, now that I look at the picture closely its totally a 15-90, they look almost identical to the 201 except the tension dial is on the side and there is no flat metal plate under the spool pin. The 15-90 is also a wonderful machine.

Correction, this is a 15-90, not a 201. Still a wonderful machine.
