Thanks for all the get well prayers and thoughts. They do help. We've got many of the details for future Dr appointments worked out and that takes a load off my brain.

My work area is in the basement and I've been unable to get up and down the stairs to work on the few projects I have sitting and waiting. When I feel up to it I'll see what I can do about finishing them.

Other than that I've not much to report as of now.

So sorry you're feeling so weak and puny! Know its a real drag to want to do stuff and not have the energy to do it. That's much worse than not having the time to do it! Here you have the time and no oomph. What a bummer! Prayers ascending.

I was wondering about him, too. He almost always posts about someone's new sewing machine find. Hope he's not ill!

    Joe,
Ask for diesel - you get more miles per gallon.

    mme3924,

My wife posted a thread here a week or so back detailing my illness. Yes I am quite sick. Somehow I came down with an e-coli infection. I wasn't feeling too well for several weeks before, but on the 4th or 5th of this month I went to the ER with a screaming pain in my kidney area.
They said it was kidney stones and sent me home with pain meds. Not only did they do no good I never improved. On the next Tuesday I was in so much pain I could not walk. In tears I crawled up the stairs from the basement, curled up in bed and went into a horrible cold shivering fever. Wife somehow got me into the car and back to the ER.
Their next tests found an abscess in the muscles of my lower back. Needle tests and cultures showed it to be e-coli.
A week in the hospital and now 9 daily trips for IV anti bios and I'm still barely functional. 21 infusions to go.

I'm fighting as best as I can. But just sitting here typing is painful. So I mostly read.

Diesel smokes too much. I'd rather get 110 / 120 octane AV gas.

I'm sorry for your pain and weakness. I know how it feels to want to create but not be physically able to do so. It's important to keep your spirits up as much as possible. I hope you start to feel better soon!
