Default Here's what I did with my funky little cabinet!

In a previous thread, I had asked what everyone thought this little piece of furniture was intended to be. I got lots of great responses and ideas! Question for Antique Enthusiasts (not about a sewing machine!)

I would love to use it someday for quilt storage, but for now it's in my kitchen because it doesn't fit in the sewing room. So I decided to use it for my cookbooks, and a few little family knick-knacks that I love. It still needs a good polishing, but I have it set up and thought those who had commented might like to see it!

Perfect spot. Easy to reach the book you want. I stored cook books in the cabinet over the range.

It's perfect as you're using it. My mom had a quilt cabinet and kept it in the family room, so you don't have to have it in your sewing room. :-)

Cheesehead, that's one of the few knick-knacks I have left from my childhood. So even though it's broken in a couple of places, I can't bear to get rid of it because of the happy memories.

Coopah, I live in a small condo so unfortunately no family room, but that would be great idea too!
