Thank you Archaic Annie for the info about Glenn Williams. I will contact him also.

And Cari, I am very please with the results I had cleaning the Mocha finish with waterless hand soap. I used Goop brand with no abrasives. It removed quite a bit of dirt. I used cotton balls and old white T shirts. Now the surface of the machine is clean (and smells considerably better!) Next I was going to go over the machine with TR-3 Blue Magic Cleaner. I will try it on an inconspicuous place to make sure there will be no damage.

This has been quite an adventure. I have learned a lot! This board is such a wonderful resource. Thank you to all the wonderful members!

I think you'll be pleased with the TR3. My experience with the mocha or tan Singers is they don't get the high shine the black machines do but they still come out looking very good.

Cari,

Thanks for the heads up on the TR-3. I haven't tried it yet. Sounds like I made a good choice.

I contacted Glenn Williams and he got right back to me. He HAS the part. I ordered it and he is sending it right out.
That Mr. Williams is a great guy. Please keep him in mind if you need something!!!!
