How about moving south? We were pleasantly surprised that the cost of living was way cheaper down here.

Glenn, because of all the foreclosures, right now it is very hard to get a house loan if you don't have a big down payment - banks use credit as an excuse, too. A lot of houses in Joe's price range will be sold to landlords because they can get financing.
