I have a fairly new Phaff that is sitting lonely in a spare room because I really love my 301's. I think that some of the reason that we love the old machines is because it is what a lot of us gals learned to sew on, w-a-y back when, so it may be a little bit of nostalgia. Aaahhh she is gorgeous. With a small arsenal of vintage machine this one is now on top of my wish list too. Missed out on one several weeks ago. Mine is still out there.

I was offered $1100 for my mother-in-law's machine that she gave me which was her wedding gift from her husband in 1935. I wouldn't even consider it. You have been blessed.

The machine that I just bought belonged to the seller's mother-in-law, too. I think that he was downsizing because he wanted to know if I was interested in a big wall unit that he had for sale.
