Default I got a "new" Singer Treadle

I was telling a girl at work that I really wanted to get a treadle sewing machine. She said she had one and did I want to buy it. $75 cabinet and machine (just needs a belt) plus they delivered it! The needle turns smoothly and so does the treadle part. Can't wait to try her out. Here she is:

Nice...I have her sister Britta...66 Redeye. I had so much fun cleaning her up. Just remember she most likely needs a good oiling...many little spots on her that need oil.

Very nice! Lovely decals! Clean-up, oil, belt, bobbin plate... then lots of fun trying it out! It's a 66, so look on www.singerco.com for a manual. There should be a free download.

She is very pretty.. I'm close to a treadle, as my kitchen table is a glass top on a treadle base, and my sewing machine is a 66 in a cabinet that was converted from a treadle.. Eventually, I will have a working treadle, and a FW

Wow a red eye with nice decals and a cabinet. What a beautiful machine and a great deal. Enjoy! Just a soft damp cloth and some oiling should be sufficient on this one. It is nice to see these machines in the hands of people who treasure them and take care of them.

Shes a beauty and you got her for a great price. I have her sister also, revamping her cabinet then I'll get to try her out.

Very nice. She looks to have side attaching feet, so you will be able to many use currently available attachments.
