I picked up mine about 3 months ago at a habitat restore for 30.00 in a cabinet. Only bought it for the larger harp space. I agree they are so smooth and quiet. When you have a pieced quilt with several seams it just rolls right over them like nothing. Doesn't bogged down or whine like my newer brother. It has become my go to machine. If it only did satin stitch for appliqué I'd closet my newer machines.
