Or cheap-it-tude? The serger cone -- to the Pfaff -- thru the mug handle acting as my hi-tech tension device! to wind the class 15 bobbins so I don't have to replace the bobbin-winding tires on my vintage Whites. (excuse my "enhancement" of the thread so you could see it). This helps me justify why I need so many machines. Sometime I will show you how I use a dog toy squeaker to help wind my VS bobbins.

That Pfaff is the same one my mom swears by and will only use. She's had hers for the last 20+ years and has a second as a parts machine. She loves that machine and I don't think she will ever get a different model. She mostly quilts, but made my graduation dress on that machine as well.
