I was at the Goodwill yesterday. They have a White treadle machine for $40.00. I don't have anywhere to put it where it wouldn't be in the way so I couldn't bring it home. It is just driving me nuts! I think it cried when I left the store.

The simplest answer is that if you love it that much, you must find a spot for it, and get rid of whatever you don't love as much that's already in that spot.

OMG I wish I had room for another machine also. But, if the Goodwill was closer to me I would go get her. My DD just told me MOM no, no, no! DD dreads the drive up to Bellevue more than the thought of another machine. If I were you I would make room somehow for it if the machine is in good shape. I think the White treadle is calling to you.

Wow, that's a good price. Does it work? I think I would find a place for it, even if it was the garage until I could figure out what to do with it in the house. Are you sure it wouldn't work out for you? Wish I was closer also but I don't go to Bellevue like I used to because of the traffic. I loved the mall there and when I first was laid off (1994) would run down at least once a month just to go check things out. If you do decide to get it, let me know as I have a box of accessories that say "white" on the bobbin shuttle that might work with it. You can have them.

OMG! That's a problem I would like to have. I can find sewing machines but not that many treadles or at that price.
I hear your pain.
