Yes ladies I am SO HAPPY. I am expecting twins. I am 54 yrs young and I can't wait for the wonderful blessings to come. I have be anticipating this day for almost a year now and the time has finally come. I will be a mom again but now I will have 2 new babies to get to know and love. They should be arriving sometime next week. Wish me luck. Oh and by the way, "they" are 2 featherweights. My wonderful husband bought me 2 for mother's day. I think he will be allowed to stay around for a little while longer. Gotta love a man who sees the beauty in things such as these.

    Congrats on the Twins!

By the way, You really had us going there.

A word for the wise; no rhyming or matching names!

Wow! What a relief! My first thought when reading and seeing you are 54 was "Is she out of her MIND????" So glad you are having the manageable kind of twins! Pictures when you can, please!

Woe! I couldn't imagine what you are thinking! I sure fell for it! Have fun with your twins.
And hey, what's wrong with rhyming names, Celeste? I'm a twin and our names are Patricia Lou and Pamela Sue plus our brother twins are John Jay and Roger Ray. I agree, it is kind of corny!

Boy, you really did have ME going there for a few minutes. When I was PG with oldest daughter, met a woman at the doctor's office who was having her last child at over 50 years old.
And I think the oldest woman to have a child was about 70 years old...must have lost her mind!!! I know I would have.

We're waiting with bated breath for the twins' names!!! Don't let us wait too long.

I haven't decided on names yet. I have to get over the shock of finding out they are coming. Sort of like you are when a "surprise" pregnancy hits you. I am thinking of naming them Maggie or Molly. I think the other will be called Marvin. Will have to wait and see them in person to make the final decision.

You had me going there also. I was going to say "See you in about 5 years from now." You wouldn't have time to quilt.

Oops! (trying to get foot out of mouth) Just speaking from personal preference from twin sis and I, and some others we have spoken too. It IS cute though.
