That is so cool! Thank you for posting the pics. I love the little light yours has... mine has an outlet for a light, but not the actual light. The case for yours is really nice too. Love the alligator look. I did find out that the machine I have was made in 1912. She still sews a perfect stitch. I sew a lot, so my "other" machine is new, huge, and does a bunch of stuff. BUT, for personality, the White machine has it! I think I may keep it on display in my sewing room. They must be made of steel or cast iron, it's so heavy!

I don't remember who owns the White name these days. I do know they have pretty good records and can probably tell you when it was made if you call with the serial #. I'm guessing the case is probably from the 40s or 50s and probably isn't original to the machine.
