Default White Sewing Machine model 167 serial #21849

OK people I need some help!!! Yesterday I was given my Aunt Millie's White model 167 serial # 21849 and I'm trying to find out how old it is!!! Checked the internet and was told to contact Husqvarna consumer services and I did but because the tag does not say Made in Japan they can't help me, she gave me a number here in Canada and I just called the only person who can help is the Service Manager and he's gone for 3 weeks!!!! Any suggestions except waiting for three weeks for him to get back??? Thanks

Welcome aboard! The model# may or may not help. Can you post a picture? Some people may not recognize the model but may recognize the machine itself and at least give you an approximate range.

If it is like this one that sold on eBay, it was made in Japan. Maybe from the 1960's.

It's similar to mine... but not exact. Mine is a 165.
Same colors just missing the slide bar on the front left. And the knob underneath.

Does yours take cams?
