I was bored and surfing eBay a week or so ago and ran across one of the trapezoid sewing tables for the early Singers. I think it's #74? Anyway, it didn't go that high and I won it! I was so excited. I got it last week and got it set up on Saturday.

That is a very cool cabinet. Good for you. And how do you like your lamp? Is it LED?

I really like it. It's great for bright light in a small area. It folds flat so it's easy to take with you. I think it will be great for classes because it runs on batteries and you don't have to mess with a cord. I'm not sure how long the batteries will last. I make sure I turn it off when I'm not using it to save battery life. I actually plan to pick up another one when I see it.

Is the front drawer gone? I have the cabinet but could not fit anything larger than the 301 in it as the head of the machine hit the inside drawer compartment on the front swing out part when you close it up.

No. The front drawer is there. My 301 is a long bed so I'm not sure it will fit. I just sat the Rocketeer in it because it needed a place, but it doesn't sit down flat with the top. I'm thinking this is a good excuse to look for a short bed 301
