I continue to be amazed by these Goodwill stories! Our area Goodwills are so overpriced it isn't even funny! In fact it's so bad I refuse to donate to them. I've been convinced they should have their nonprofit status revoked. Even a trashy looking machine would be $90 no matter what the brand, etc. and I've never seen a piece of furniture of any kind for less than $25. I sure am envious. But more importantly.....my parents bought all our Christmas presents at Goodwill....now there's no way poor people could afford to shop there!

If this is indeed a table for a 301, I would agree the 301 is a better machine. They are more user friendly than the FW and a whole lot less expensive. I have a 301 and 2 FWs. The 301 will be a good machine to piece quilts. I take mine to classes, sit and sews, etc. in a rolling case an find it very easy.

You will laugh but I carry my 301 in an old red milk crate. Just pack my fabric in around it and off I go. Often times setting it on my rolling chair if going very far from the car.

Both were lucky finds. I think Goodwill prices their great items way too low. Ours does not have any good items.
