My 15-91 started skipping stitches a few days ago. I checked the threading, changed the needle, checked the bobbin. Still no luck. So I attempted to remove the tensioner and got it totally messed up. Now it is going to the "hospital" today so that the "doctor" can fix it next week. Thank goodness I have a 201 (Moe) to use while Curly is gone. I could use my 66 (Larry) but I need to find some other feet for him.

Page 30-31 of the 15-91 manual shows you how to grease/lubricate the motor. Some purists use only Singer lube but I use Triflow. Do not oil the motor, grease only.

Any idea where I can get a case (wood or plastic) for a 15-91? Also looking for back mount feet for singer 66. Thanks for any help.

Grease tubes are tucked behind the handwheel and between the pillar. Go directly up from the plug. I always thought they looked upside down (cap comes off the bottom, closest to the plug). Kind of crammed in there too!

Thanks for all the info. This is the first Vintage machine I have tinkered with since I was a child. I can hardly wait to get it in working order. She might wind up having to see a doc too but I'm going to try everything I can before I let her out of my sight!! Oh, I love the case. That is what attracted me to her to begin with. Spotted it right off the bat. I got her for $20.00. Didn't figure I could go wrong.
