Source, I dunno. The bobbin case part number on mine is Simanco 105032. I'd have to check VintageSingers Group files, but I think that all of the 206/206k used the same bobbin case, but maybe by the time they got to the 306 or 319 swing needle machines, there were a couple different case numbers.

eta --- Here's what that issue was, now that I opened the wrong can of worms (it wasn't the 206 b c):
The 306K and the 306W do not use the same bobbin case. The 306W use
bobbin case # 105032 -- the open front one.

The 306K and the 319 use #173058, the closed front bobbin case.

I will tell you that some anomalies developed when this topic was
examined in the Needlebar group. There were cases where the "wrong"
bobbin case worked just fine in a machine, so this leads to the
conclusion that at some point the hook and bobbin case base were changed,
thus the bobbin case was changed.

I found this post that I'd saved from 1999 FW Fanatics discussion:
Here are words of clarification from one with many years more experience than I. Note that you have to factor in the K & W too! :-)

>>>Hi Mel,
According to the distributors catalog, the 206K & 306W use the same bobbin case. The 319 & 306K use the same bobbin cases. The bobbin cases with the "K" suffix are made in Great Britain, and the bobbin case with the "W" suffix is made in the USA. So....there is some confusion there if using only the model number & not the suffix.
Hope this helps.
Glenn<<<

Now to go and look at my bobbin cases again and see which one is different! I have a 206k, 306w, 319k, and 319w in the house!

Mel

BTW, the bobbin case from the 319W will fit the Singer model #115 if anyone has a 115 with the bobbin case missing.
