Look how cute! I love mine and she didn't even come in a case. After many moons of looking I was so happy to have her. Enjoy yours.

They are wonderful. Saw ad online in 1992..Wisconsin Sewing Machine Repair shop got one in from some kids whose grandma had died. They found a FW 221 in closet. All the accessories were still wrapped in tissue. Carrying case perfect, machine used very little. I called the shop told them I wanted it..he said mail me $50.00 and it is yours. The FW arrived FedEx 2 days later before he even got my check. When I called about "that", he said anyone willing to pay $50 for that old thing was bound to mail their check. She is a jewel and sews perfectly.

My sister has my mom's old Kenmore in a cabinet. I had it for a while but never did anything with it. It just sat in my garage so I took it back to her...now it's sitting in her garage! LOL I really didn't think it could be repaired. I had several people ask if I wanted to sell it but we wanted to keep it in the family regardless of whether it worked. Now we need to have it checked out and see it it can be repaired. It's the machine I learned to sew on, too.

You will love your Featherweight and never regret buying it! It is cute, fun and sews great! I have one - was surprised my husband wanted to buy it for me - it's the Centennial edition and I love it!
