Wow...what a beauty! Your honesty helped him out but at the same time, helped you in getting a great machine for an fair price! Have fun with it as I do with mine.

Wow - what a neat story! So happy you got your Featherweight. I love mine but now it's in the shop because it's jammed and probably also needs a tune-up. Featherweights are such fun and enjoy!

I am really enjoying this cute little machine. Now I see why they are in demand! It's the cuteness, the weight and the stitch. And golly they are fun to use! I'm happy with the price. Had I hurried down there and offered lower I would feel guilty and not enjoy my treasure as much. It worked out well. As much as I love a bargain, I shuttered to see someone so unaware of what they had and so vulnerable to predators.

Congrats on your new baby!!! She is a nice one!! Sorting through an estate is a lot of work and I'm sure your honest information about the machines was appreciated.

Looks good! That case is in great shape on the outside, looks like new. Enjoy the new "catch" you landed. Thanks too for being so honest with this poor man, you could have just offered him $20.00 or so and he would probably have accepted it, not knowing their value, but you would also think about that each time you sewed on your machine, he had no idea at all as to what he was selling until you telephoned, and that's so sad. Your honesty paid off for you!! Honesty always pays off in the long run. It is so hard to be the one going through parent's belongings and to have to clean out their home, I've been there and done that.
