I got my two 301's yesterday! What awesome machines! I named them "Esther" and "Opal" after two great women I admired and loved!

Well, big update on my Miss Ida -- I had to order new parts for her tensioner, as the springs were DOA, and after replacing them and putting it back together (actually DH did this part!) and oiling and cleaning, she runs like a little trooper!! I also got her new rubber feet for the bottom. I had to dig the old rubber out after removing tight screws, but the new ones look really nice and will protect any surface I set her on.

Her seams are soooo straight it's scary!!! :-)  I can't wait to take her to quilting friendship group to show her off!! She's a cutie!!!

So glad that it is working out for you. You only needed a few minor parts! Good Luck with her!

Congratulations on beautiful Ida! I have her twin sister which I adore! She was my mothers and works wonderfully!
