A friend out of my past (ex co-worker/30 yrs ago) contacted me to help him find a place to live (me; real estate agent) and so I did. Then he tells me he has to downsize his possessions and since my office is in my home (he came here to sign papers) he had noticed my Singer treadle machine and he wanted to gift me the sewing machine in a cabinet that he is not going to keep. He said (being a non-sewing male)... the machine looks like yours but the cabinet is different; I think that must mean the machine is "black", LOL ! Anyway, I'm excited, he says it is a Singer....I have no clue what I'm getting until this Saturday when he delivers it to my house, yep, he said he will deliver it on his moving day, WOW... lucky me... I can't wait to see her! Will post pics and ID it later.
