You can go to the Singer Sewing Machine site and they have all the information by serial number for most of the Singers ever made. Just Google Singer Sewing Machine Serial Numbers, and it will pop right up. You look up by no letter, single letter or double letter. Not all of the very early information is right, however, after 1920 it seems to be very accurate.
