So many variables, it would be hard to give you a value, etc. These are very simple machines to get running and to clean up the cabinets. If it's in fairly good condition they are worth whatever you are willing to pay. Basically that's the best rule.

I think it's in order to go ahead and post which machine she wants to know about, I've put this one in charlees thread about 3 days ago....

To me it's a great buy .. these new home hand wheels seem to always be a dark color ...

Rather than asking us how much we think you should pay for this, you should be braggin cos you just got it home and are thrilled to pieces to get it.
$60.00 is a good price for that. That machine is a good sewing machine, they sew very well, ( I have one ) and the cabinet is in really decent shape.

I paid 3X that amount for a Franklin in a parlor cabinet that's bottom was falling apart. Lot of work into it and I'm not unhappy at all.

Go get it, that machine needs a good home.

The ONLY downside I see to that machine *might* be the slide plate, and like we talked about in the other thread, I think it's in the attachment box. (Kind of peeking out from underneath the underbraider)

If I were closer and wouldn't have to drive 3 hours to get it, this machine would already be sitting in my home with me wondering where the heck I was going to put it! The cabinet by itself is worth the $60 IMO.

Good catch on the slide plate, Charlee! I have to agree, the price is great on this machine/cabinet.

Run for it! Fantastic price for a machine and cabinet in such nice condition. It's too far away for me to sneak it away while you think it over.

well, unfortunately every time i attempt to respond to the craigslist, i get an error message and it isn't showing up in today's craigslist ads so i'm assuming someone got there before me. i will look forward to the thrill of hunting when i get home from this job site.
